What Does A Boho Groom Wear?
The latest trend for weddings has to be the Boho Vibe.
The term, in Weddings, is used to describe relaxed, laid back vibe with a very informal and relaxed setting. Many Boho weddings are taking place in tipi’s and gardens around the UK in 2021 with many more planned for 2022.
Imagine straw bales, bunting, fun Summer Fete garden games, a tug O war or even a sack race! Then for the evening fleece blankets, camp fires, fairy lights and guitar playing to finish off a truly romantic wedding day.
These are just some of the plans we have heard from our TDR Brides & Grooms planning their Boho wedding and we think this style in here to stay, at least for a while. Covid has certainly made us all look at life a little bit differently, focussing on the good times we all love with friends and family. Never have weddings been so important as a get together and a real celebration of love and family life. Many of our couples have been together for years and then through lockdown have ended up getting engaged after so long. We’re sure you’ve heard people say “If we can survive Lockdown together, we can survive anything!” And so, weddings have taken on a whole new meaning in terms of who is invited and where couples choose to get married with the emphasis very much on a chilled, relaxed and happy ambience.
Choosing attire for your Groom at a boho wedding is fairly straightforward.
Rather than overthinking this, just opt for a casual lounge suit, ideally in one of our light weight Tweeds, available in a mid-blue, a light grey or a country beige so you can tie these in with whatever suits your bridesmaids colour scheme. So mid-blue with any colour on the pink/purple/blue part of the colour spectrum, Grey with any of the blue/green/yellow and beige with yellows/oranges/reds. But as a side note to this, don’t feel restricted by these colours as truly, with a boho wedding, anything goes! Get those fun braces out! Get those funky socks on, imagine the most stylish brogues, jodhpur boots, or even Trailback Riggers! C’mon! This is a wedding Style revolution! Dickie bows too are a thing! Yes! You heard it here first, dickie bows have made a comeback and are bang on trend right now. Its all just swinging country vibes with a bit of haymaking and barn dancing thrown in! what a fabulous way to celebrate the union of two people! We love it!
